"We Take the Worry Out of Caring for Someone You Love"

"Many thanks for your care, concern and special helpfulness during Mom's illness. She certainly took a liking to each of you.
You enabled me to care for Mom right here in my home. What a blessing it was for all of us."
- Fondly, Jeannette B.

What's the difference between Living Care and registries?

Living Care is a company, not a registry. Our employees are not subcontractors, you don't pay them (we do), and you don't have to get an EIN (Employer Identification Number) and send them and the IRS a 1099. We cover our employees with Workers Compensation Insurance; registries don't. We carry General Liability Insurance, which is very inclusive and better protects our clients than Professional Liability Insurance. We choose your caregiver based upon your needs for specific skills as well as your need to have a compatible and caring relationship because we know our employees. You don't have to fumble with interviewing workers you don't know and having to entrust your loved one with a stranger based on a brief meeting. We know that the care we provide is our responsibility and we take that very seriously.

I need help now... can you help me?

We face and meet the challenge of providing care within 24 hours. We have often met a family's need for care (with the right caregiver) the same day they request help. We'll do our best and we'll respect you and be honest with you if we can't meet your requirements.

Do you provide care to clients in assisted living or other types of facilities?

Yes. Our caregivers have provided care to clients in many local facilities such as assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. Some of these facilities have certain requirements for caregivers such as TB testing. We make sure our caregiver fulfills the facility's requirements before we go into the facility so you don't have to worry.

Do I pay the caregiver?

No. Our caregivers are our employees. We pay them through payroll, make all employer tax contributions and cover them with Workers Compensation insurance. It's our responsibility to insure their health and welfare and we take that very seriously.

How much does care cost?

The cost of a caregiver depends upon the service type requested. We provide hourly and live-in care. Hourly rates are affordable and are the same for weekday, weekend and overnight hours. Live-in rates are also very affordable and the caring men and women are worth their weight in gold! To obtain specific costs, please contact us.

What if my situation changes and I need to change the service I receive?

We are flexible. We want to meet your needs and often, those needs will change over time. We change with you. When you need a little (or a lot) more help, we'll be there. If you need a little less help, we'll be there then too. You're never locked into service. As your needs change, we'll change to accommodate you.

Do you provide Hospice care?

Yes. We have caregivers who have the knowledge and skills that Hospice care requires. We understand the comfort measures that are so important at this time. We also understand the journey you and your loved one are on: we've been there ourselves. Our caregivers not only provide gentle physical care to our client, they also open their hearts to the whole family. Call us. We'd love to help.
